About Christy

I’m a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker with eighteen years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, overwhelm, relationship stress, and the transitions that reshape a life.

Over time, my work has become especially focused on neurodivergent adults sorting through their own lives. Others I see aren't neurodivergent themselves, but love someone who is, whether a partner or a child, and want to understand and connect more easily. Often it's both at once, and a whole household is carrying the weight together.

My Background

Before starting my practice, I worked at Vanderbilt University Counseling Center and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where I deepened my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the emotional weight people often carry beneath the surface.

My Approach

My work is neurodiversity-affirming and informed by evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), as well as my lived experience partnering and parenting in a neurodiverse family.

I'm practical and collaborative, and I make room for both depth and levity in our discussions. Together, we'll make sense of the patterns that keep tripping you up and identify a few things you can realistically do between sessions.

Affirming Care

I'm deeply committed to creating a space where you feel respected, affirmed, and able to show up fully as yourself. I welcome clients of all identities, backgrounds, and neurotypes, and aim to offer care grounded in curiosity, humility, and compassion.

Telehealth Services

I provide therapy services exclusively via telehealth, offering flexibility and convenience for clients with busy lives or multi-state needs. Online therapy allows us to connect from the comfort of your home, office, or wherever you feel comfortable, while still providing the same quality of care. Learn more about telehealth HERE.

I’d love to stay connected. Reach out if you’d like to join my waitlist or be notified when a space opens.
